Isn't that what the new prez said in his inauguration speech, as well? In fact, I'm re-reading his post, just because you brought it up. What's he really saying? Live within your means, realize that homeownership may not be for you, don't overestimate the value of your home, don't spend money on stupid stuff, be a disciplined investor. That all sounds reasonable to me. I don't follow where you see a gloomy picture being painted. @Seattle Washington real estate

In fact, I’m re-reading his post, just because you brought it up. What’s he really saying?
