Sweet Sounds In Honor Of Our Mothers

One of my all-time favorite contemporary jazz artists, South African singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Jonathan Butler, wrote this ballad as a tribute to his mother. He called it “Song for Elizabeth”. And today, I’m dedicating it to all the mothers in the world, including my mom who passed away a year and three weeks ago.

My wife and I actually met Jonathan after one of his concerts in Michigan City, Indiana last year, and were blown away by what a humble and gentle human being he is.
